Bekhterev Street 3.

 The State Psycho-neurological Institute named after Bekhterev V.M. The bronze bust of Bekhtercv V.M. (1857-1927) done by sculptor Anickushin M.K. and architect Gepner F.A. was opened on 28 of December 1960. Bekhterev V.M. is an outstanding Russian neurologist, psychologist, morphologist and nervous system physiologist. In 1908 he created and headed the Psycho-neurological Institute in St. Petersburg. In 1918 he assumed the lead in organized under his initiative Institute of brain and psychical activity study (later renamed into State Reflexological Institute of Brain Study named after Bekhterev V.M.). The backside inscription reads: "Sc. Anikushin M.K. Leningrad. "Monumentsculpture" 1960".
