BerggoltsGorokhovaya street 57a, Leningrad's Science and Cultural Regional College.


Olga Berggolts (1910-1975) - the poetess, worked as a radio announcer during the Siege of Leningrad. glorifying the courage of Leningrad's defenders. Her voice saved thousands of lives, placing faith and hope into the hearts of citizens.
The bronze plate, which is fixed to stele, is bearing the words: "From the depths of my sole I tore out my verse, having no mercy to its' living tissue". The sculptor - Sukhoruckova N.G.. The monument was opened on 16 of May 1988.
