Dzerzhinsky F.E. (1877-1926) -political figure. From 1917 - the Chairman of All-Russian Extraordinary Comission - the organ of State security services of Russia. Took up a post of "Commission of child's iife improvement" Chairman established under the All-Russian Central Executive Committee. The bronze sculpture of "Iron" Felix done by sculptors Gorevoy V.E.. Kubasov V.A. and architect Bukchaev V.B. was opened on 23 of October 1981. At the front side of granite pedestal is written "To Felix Eudmundovitch Dzerzhinsky". at the plinth backside are listed the project's authors names.
