In the yard of Memorial Flat-Museum of A.S. Pushkin on 5 of October 1952 was opened the monument to the poet done by sculptor Duduckin N.V. and architect Medvedev N.A.
The museum was established in 1925-1927 in the flat, where the poet had been living four final months of his life.
Inscriptions: at the pedestal front side on the plaque in gilded letters: To Pushkin. 1950". Among museum's relics - poet's death-mask, waistcoat that was on him in the day of duel, locket with his curl.
