 In front of the Palace of culture and technique named after I.I. Gaza in 1962 was installed the bust of commissar of armoured forces of Petrogradsky military region I.I. Gaza (1894-1933). At the Putilovsky plant, where Ivan Gaza worked was created an armoured train N 6. which took part in many battles. Ivan Gaza was its commissar. Under Gaza initiative at the plant was also created the "iron" battalion.
