Alexandrovsky Garden.

There are many monuments of political figures, cultural and science workers situated in Alexandrovsky Garden. One of them -- monument to Gortchakov A.M. - Grand Duke. Russian diplomat, an honorary member of Russian Academy of Sciences. The bronze bust of chancellor Gortchakov done hy sculptors Tcharkin A.S. and Petrov B.A.. architect Mikhailov S.L. and artist-designer Sokolov N.N. was opened on 16 of October 1998. At the bust backside are listed the authors names. At the pedestal front side in carved gilded letters is written: "Alexander Mikhailcvitch Gortchakov. 15 July 1798- 10 March 1883".
