Stachek (Strike) Square.

"To Marshal Govorov from grateful citizens" - reads the pedestal's inscription. The monument was done by sculptors Bogoiyubov V.I, Petrov B.A. and architect Shapovaiov E.R
Govorov L.A. (1897-1955) - the Soviet Union Marshal. the Soviet Union Hero. During the WWII was in command of the army in the battle for Moscow. Trie monument was unveiled in the beginning of 1999.
