The Railway Stations


There are 5 stations in St. Petersburg, most of them are located in the center, and all of them -near the metro stations. The area around the stations is not very secure, but is not dangerous as well. If you don't want to overcharge 3-10 times, don't take a taxi from the railway station. It's recommended to order the taxi beforehand.
Tickets for immediate departures can be bought at the train stations. Tourists need to show their passports to buy a long distance train ticket. It's more comfortable to buy a train ticket and re ceive the information about the directions at Railway Agency - a central train tickets booking office: Address: Griboedova Channel. 24. phone: (812) 762-3344. open: 8.00 - 20.00. sun 8.00-16.00
