ErmakLieutenant Schmidt Embankment, opposite Peter the Great Naval College.


"To the first Russian around the world seaman, admiral Ivan Feodorovich Kruzenshtern" - says the sign at the bronze plate. At the right/face side of red granite pedestal in cartouche is pictured the Arms and the sign "Spefretus".
The monument to admiral I.F.Kruzenshtern (1770-1846). sculptor - Shreder I.N.. architect - Monigetti I. A. was opened on 6 of November 1873. It is situated near trie Lieutenant Schmidt Bridge, behind it — the Neva River, building berth of Admiralieysky dockyard.
