Lomonosov M.V.Mendefeevskaya Line, B.I.


M.V Lomonosov (1711-1765) - the first Russian scientist - naturalist; poet, who laid the foundation of Russian literary language; artist, historian, uphoider of native enlightenment, science and economy development.
The sculptors Sweshnickov Y.D., and Petrov B.A. architects Shachov LA. and Tyacht E.A. tried to convey the greatness of Russian genius. The bronze statue of the scientist is mounted on the granite pedestal, where in gilded letters is written: "To Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov". The monument was opened on 21 of November 1986, at the plinth of the sculpture are listed the names of composition authors.
