In the yard of the main building of St. Petersburg's State University, at the Botanical Gardens fence on high pedestal is installed the sculpture of graceful cat (sculptor-A.G. Diema. architects-S.L. Mikhailov. N.N. Socolov).
At the edges of high rectangular pedestal are written quotations and sayings of prominent Russian scientists about the role of the cat in science development.
