Nicholas IILigovsky Prospect. 128, nearby the Exaltation of the God's Cross Church.


The bust of the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II was installed on 19 of May 2002. near the Altar wall of Exaltation of the God's Cross Church. This is the first monument to Nicholas II in St. Petersburg. The bronze bust was cast according to the project of Petersburg's sculptor Sergey Alippov. For creating of Tsar's image were used historical pictures and unique photographs from private collections. To see the statue one should come round the church. The inscription at the metai plaque reads: "Holy Tsar Maityr Nicholas II" and is pictured double eagle.
