Alexandrovsky Garden.

The monument to M.Y. Lermontov. outstanding Russian poet, was unveiled on 17 of June 1896. Trie project was carried out by sculptor Creitan V.R. and architect Maximov A.R.
At the red granite pedestal is written: "To Michail Yurievitch Lermontov, ciiy St. Petersburg. 3 October 1814-15 July 1841"'. At the edge of the bust there is an inscription: "Modeled by V.Creiton". at the plinth — "Cast by K. Bertoe".
