Pushhinskaya Street.
The bronze sculpture or the poet done by sculptor Opeckushin A.M.. architects Benua N.I,, and Utkin A.S. is approximately of man's height. The poet is represented in calm and thoughtful manner. The sculpture is placed on a high black granite pedestal, made in workshop of Vetimov. At the front side of pedestal (facing Nevsky Prospect) is written: "Alexander Sergeevitch Pushkin", and beneath "Krected by St. Petersburg's municipal public government". At the backside of pedestal the inscription reads: "Was born in Moscow 26 May 1799, died in Petersburg 29 January'' 1837". At the side edges are given quotations from "Brazen horseman".
