Monument "The Glory of Russian Fleet.


Petrovskaya and Petrograd's Embankments Crossing.


Monument "The Glory of Russian Fleet" done by sculptor Anikushin M.K. and architect Sadovsky T.R was opened on 2 of November 1996. At the upper part of the pedestal is situated the ap plied Peter I monogram, cast inscription "Decree to Duma: Year 1696 Russian Fleet to be" and two medallions with dates: "1696". "1996", beneath at the front side the inscription reads: "To the seamen and creators of the Russian fleet".
