Tchaikovsky P.I.Potiemkinskaya Street 2-4, Tavrichesky Garden.

 

 The monument to outstanding Russian composer P.l. Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) clone by sculptor Plenkin B.A. and architect Verzhbitsky G.M. was opened on 14 of May 1990.
The bronze bust was installed in Tavrichesky Garden. Tchaikovsky created many masterpieces. His operas, ballets, symphonies and chamber music are world-famed. He is also known as ballet innovator: "Swan's Lake". "Sleeping Beauty" and "Nutcracker" are considered to be world-wide masterpieces. From 1958 in Moscow is held the international musical contest named after Rl. Tchaikovsky.
