Kronverkskaya Street 16, Fire Wall.

 

On 7 of May 2002 was opened the memorial dedicated to LAAD women - warriors done by sculptor Smorgon L. and architect Matveew l.D. It is the first modernist trend work used for military topic representation. The monument is placed at the building's fire wall at the height of 14 meters. The inscription reads: To women, who have defended Leningrad" and lower - "Dedicated to holding the Order of Red Banner LAAD women - warriors in the Siege of Leningrad years. 1941 -1944".
